New to Faith?
Whether you've decided to take the plunge, or maybe still on the fence; Let us help you navigate the newness of Christianity by helping answer a few common questions.
Confession
Repentance
Salvation
Renewal
First thing's first, if you have not committed your life to Christ, or if you are wondering why you should, take a look at our eloquently crafted message by one of our kids at the Book of Acts Church.
Choose a Bible
Any successful relationship is built on communication. The Word of God was given to us as a method of communicating with God, our Father. He reveals His plans and His heart through His word.
If you want to know what God is saying to you about your life and purpose, the Bible is a great place to start. There are many great study bibles and translations that are available to you. Our church teaches from the King James Version (KJV) as it is the most reliable, however the Good News Bible(GNB) and New International Version (NIV), are all good for cross-referencing.
Choose a Church
One of the most important steps in maintaining your walk with Christ is to find a church that teaches the whole Bible.
The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25, "do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together..."
Whether you choose to walk with us, or with a church in your neighborhood, find a church that will help you grow spiritually.
Find a Community
As a Believer, it is important to surround like-minded people. It's true what they say, that birds of a feather, flock together. If you decide to join our church, we have ministries and small groups to keep you surrounded by love.
You can also join our online community by liking our church Facebook page and looking out for additional volunteer and ministry opportunities.
