Superintendent's Bio
Superintendent Timothy McGee was born to David and Emma McGee, he is the seventh of ten children. He was raised in Terry, Mississippi, a small town outside of Jackson. He grew up loving animals and tending to their needs. He also spent time fishing, enjoying the quiet calm of the water. These childhood experiences inspire many of his practices and teachings today. Being raised in the church, he learned early on, to reverence the Lord. His mother instilled in him many Godly lessons such as, “God is no one to play with and you will need God one day.”
Superintendent moved from Mississippi to Peoria, ILL then Minnesota in the early 1980s with his family. He attended and graduated from Saint Paul Public Schools where he developed a passion for community service.
After a powerful experience with the Lord during the Christmas season of 1998 when the Lord spoke and said “If you don’t change your life you won’t be here to see another Christmas “ Superintendent realized his need for a Savior and made an immediate change and began to attend church regularly. While continuing to learn and trust the Lord, the Lord blessed him with a wife. On March 7, 1999, he married Kindra D. Harden (McGee). They have two children, Annalissa and Timothy David, as well as three grandchildren, and host of godchildren.
Throughout the early years of their marriage, he was called to ministry through missions. He traveled with his Pastor and mentor Apostle Boudoir, to multiple nations, including Guatemala, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Haiti and more. On the aforementioned mission trips, he helped to facilitate and minister to God's people while teaching and leading them to Jesus.
Superintendent has held many offices within the Book of Acts Church Intl’; appointed to the office of Deacon in 2000, a licensed minister in 2001, an Elder in 2002, Adjutant to Apostle Boudoir in 2003 and Asst. Pastor in 2008. At the passing of Apostle Boudoir in 2010, Superintendent McGee was installed as Pastor of Book of Acts Church 2010 and in 2013 he was appointed President of Home and Foreign Missions Dept. by Bishop F. Washington, Jurisdictional Bishop of Minnesota.
With his appointment to Superintendent of the Bishop J.W. Graham Minneapolis District in 2020, he has not ceased from serving while remembering the basic principles his mother and Apostle instilled in him. Superintendent McGee holds firm to Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” He continues the work of ministering to God’s people at The Book of Acts Church, regularly conducts prison ministry, and working to mentor young men in the community.
