A peek into our past
Book of Acts Church International Church of God in Christ began ministry as a church on December 10, 1995 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was not, however, the beginning of ministry for its founders. Apostle Kurtiz Boudoir and his wife Evangelist Grace Boudoir had been serving God’s people through ministry for many years.
After being married in 1977, Apostle and Evangelist Boudoir sat under Pastor Walter Smith at Evangelist Crusaders for Christ in Minneapolis. Here, the founders learned the ways of the Lord and the Love Walk. They learned about the Agape love of God and how to share that love with God’s people. Under this ministry, Apostle and Evangelist Boudoir witnessed the Power of God to cast out devils, heal the sick, and raise the dead. Here, they were taught to believe in the Holy Word of God and how to operate in its power.
From Evangelist Crusaders, Apostle and Evangelist Boudoir sat under the ministry of Pastor Nathaniel Mullen at Outreach Church in Minneapolis, where they learned the realities of being in Christ Jesus. Here they learned who they were in Christ and what believers in Christ possess. The ministry that would become Book of Act Church International COGIC was founded on the principles learned from their time at Outreach Church and Evangelist Crusaders: loving people with the Agape love of God and In Christ Realities. This foundational teaching would be the groundwork for multiple ministries throughout Apostle and Evangelist Boudoir’s lives.
The two founded a parent company for God’s work. Incorporated in 1982, Revival Ministries International began with two people, filled with the love of Christ, preaching the Gospel all over the United States. While on the Evangelistic field, Apostle and Evangelist Boudoir ministered the love and power of God to over 1,000 churches. Since then, they have planted churches, founded Bible schools, and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ both nationally and internationally, “Taking the world for Jesus one nation at a time.”
In 1995, Apostle and Evangelist Boudoir were led to return back to Minneapolis, Minnesota to begin what would be their enduring ministry, The Book of Acts Church. This ministry would continue to go out into the world, both home and abroad, to preach the Gospel of Salvation and teach the position of believers in Christ. Apostle Boudoir pastored until he was called home to be with the Lord in 2010. Evangelist Boudoir continues the work they began in 1977 through various ministries and faithfully serving as the co-founder of the work. Since 2010, the mission has been carried out through Superintendent, Pastor Timothy McGee. Superintendent McGee, like his predecessor, desires to see the world know Jesus and live in their privilege.
